Sophie - 3 months old
The cell phone photos were a very poor quality, but for some reason I like this combination - almost looks like a page from an antique photo album. While getting Sophie ready for bed, her Daddy started talking to her and she cooed and laughed, laughed and cooed. It was precious!

Utah visit
Got to go to Utah last week to visit my youngest son and his family. We had such a wonderful time. Took us 11 hours of travel time. On the return trip it was snowing on the 'mountain' passes. So glad we made the trip when we did.

Our Smoky Valley
Lots of fires in Washington, Idaho, and Montana. It all started with a very wet spring causing the grasses to grow taller than usual. Then the summer heat came with long dry days. We had 100 new fires start a week ago from lightening without rain. However, Montana and Idaho have more burning than we do.
