Happy Mothers Day

May all of you mothers have a wonderful Mothers Day.
I trust that you have many happy memories and some special moments.

My mother is gone and my nest is empty. This is the first year I will not be around one of the children for the day. I think life is a constant flow of adjustments. What will each of you do?

Of course, everyone wants to take me out to eat on Mother's day. However,I am a food snob. When I worked on the farm part of my job was to go to New York City for 10 days mainly to eat and see what was in.Being rushed through a dinner so that the next family can be served is not my idea of a great day.The youngest and I are going to a Sheep to Wool Festival where we will meet up with my brother his wife and their sheep. Our real celebration will be next week when everyone else will have forgotten all about Mother's day.Having my birthday on the 13th is an added bonus to having it my way and I try to stretch it out as long as possible.

We went to brunch, then took a drive in the country and around the lake. Your flowers are beautiful!
