Last Apple

The apple harvest is over, but now and then you can see a few hanging in the trees.  This apple is reflecting the evening sun as the final rays of a sunset begin to fade.

Beautiful! After you snapped it, did you eat it?

Hollace, I guess there is an unspoken understanding that after harvest a person walking by can eat of anything that is left. I would feel like I had stolen it and just could not do it. Very tempting, however.

I had to look at it several times before I realized that I was looking at a curled leaf. It appeared to be a thru and thru to the other side. Couldn't figure out what would make such a strange hole. Duh!
