My Winter Fun - 60 Years Ago

 

I am visiting my daughter in Idaho, but I have plenty of other Idaho memories as I lived here 60 years ago.

My sister just sent me a scan of this photo; they will never let me live this moment down!

I wanted outside and knew the 4-5 feet deep snow was easier to navigate with snow shoes. Who cared about winter clothes!

How can my oldest be 41?

This was a fun week for me - Dorene visited for several days and we had some wonderful mother-daughter time together.

Father's Day was Sunday so plenty of activity that day, then Monday was Kevin's Birthday. Robin, your rhubarb custard bars were a hit at two of the occasions!

We returned home via the Cascade Highway. These mountains are said to resemble the Alps. They may, but the Canadian Rockies are more spectacular.
