My oldest son and family were here for Christmas. Always so special to have them. It was just the eight of us for Christmas - how many did you have?

Nicholas

Nicholas is the brother to the three girls shown earlier, Cara, Caitlin and Talia. He is a very good brother and the girls are pretty lucky! Nicholas is a lot of fun to have in the home. I enjoyed his week stay with us.

Celebrating Kevin's 41st Birthday

How can my oldest be 41?

This was a fun week for me - Dorene visited for several days and we had some wonderful mother-daughter time together.

Father's Day was Sunday so plenty of activity that day, then Monday was Kevin's Birthday. Robin, your rhubarb custard bars were a hit at two of the occasions!

Cara has more energy than 3 children. She keeps the family really busy!

Graduation from Bible School

I am terrible late in posting this. Kevin graduated in May - we are all so proud of him and all his hard work.

Graduation award

Kevin was awarded for Academic Excellence with a 4.0 average. We know he worked really hard to earn this - while being a Dad and adding 2 children to his family, working full time as manager where he is employed, running his own business, and doing a 3 year intern at the church - all this while studying.

While Sunday activities and birthday parties are hard on everyone, Caitlin escaped - she found my basket of throw blankets, rubbed them for a few moments, and soon sunk her face into pure bliss.

Talia

Talia loves to sleep. She is a very peaceful baby!

Weighed in at 9 pounds and 12 ounces
She is 21 inches long

Caitlin came over for a visit. This is where she spent 3 hours. She was much happier when she finally woke up. No, she didn't wake up - her parents finally woke her up!
