Paul and Zola

Here are the companion pages for Paul and Zola.

The little square pic is of her during her teaching days. Isn't that great! Looks just like a teacher. The auction is next week - the time has finally come. I have not shown you all the pages, but the entire photo album will be at the reunion.

Companion Pages Done

Another set of pages are done. The above photo is dated December 30, 1933.

This family photo is from 1965; 45 years ago. Oh my! Does Vernon still wear a flat top? Was the rose in the upper left hand corner hand stamped, colored, then hand cut and glued onto the page? Maybe cut from the flowered paper and reassembled. Lots of work here.

Companion Pages

The pages for Earl and Dorotha are done!

Wow, Zella, you did great rounding up some old photos.

Lois is making cards for the silent auction and Leora has a quilt done. I know both of their projects will be beautiful as well. If I ever get some photos I will share!

More pages for the Family Album

Zella has just finished this companion page to feature Ruby and her family. (Note: the main page of Ruby in shown several posts below this one.) Is Richard the only one of this family who tends to attend the reunions?

Uncle Ralph - an uncle I never met. Did he ever marry? Have children? I imagine the album will include more details!

Getting Ready for the Reunion Silent Auction

The Carter reunion is coming in July and Zella is getting ready! These are only a couple of pages in a photo album which she is putting in the Silent Auction. Some of us have never seen these pictures before as she has been very busy getting in touch with relatives.
I would think this album will be a very desired item. I happen to know that the cost of producing this album, with all the pretty paper and embellishments exceeds $150. This completed treasure is a rare find so be ready! Start saving your dollars!
