This is non-English lavender. It always seems like petals are missing. I think I like the English lavender better.
Below this 'flower', the 'seeds' are starting to form. They can be rubbed off, dried, and saved. I love the smell of Lavender - so do the bees. I had to move this plant away from the house because it drew so many bumble bees.

Plus the lavender can be put with wool to keep the moths away. I have lavender all around my wool.
