Details Details

Getting the vinyl up is the beginning of many final touches. I added small arrows to show a few rivets. Each rivet of the truck panels must be punctured, the air let out, and the torch applied to seal the vinyl tightly around the rivet.

Every seam must be sealed with the propane touch. Any air bubble must be emptied and every square inch of vinyl tightly sealed against the metal siding.

There's just a whole lot of painstaking detail to this isn't there? That's pretty interesting.

They've come a long way since billboards were slapped on with a bit of glue and a floor brush. Are you in on these projects too?

Hobbit, I am low man on the totem pole and only go in when they need an extra pair of hands.

I was rather leery of shaping, matching, torching and etc. I don't mind doing the pre-wash, moving ladders, holding, cleaning up and etc. I guess I do not want to be the fall guy for a mistake. Any mistake costs thousands.

That is hard work. I am amazed at all that has to be done. God bless!

It is quite a challenging work but I think they are very good at it.
